Billions of White Blistering Barnacles

There are these beautiful white flowers in our garden that bloom in the evening, around sunset.

This is a series of stop-motion animations. This entire series took about 10 hours (shooting and editing), 3000 pictures, and a LOT of patience.

Experiment 1

This is an animation made from about 950 pictures, featuring brief views of my grandmother and unintentionally, you can see the sunset via its shadow creeping up the wall.

Lesson learned: Do NOT answer the phone at the decisive moment.

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel XTi (older than me)

Lens: Sigma 30mm

Experiment 2

Lesson learned: Don’t lose focus at the decisive moment.

Experiment 3

Lessons Learned: Gorilla pods are not stable. Or I need a remote shutter release.
